Tuesday 3rd April, Music Concert at 8pm, at St Ansfridus Kerk in Amersfoort, arranged by All Saints.
All Saints is very happy to welcome a concert band and choir from the High School of Thomas Telford from Telford Shropshire England.
Our Minister, Revd Grant, previously worked in Telford, Shropshire in England. His church already had a good relationship with the Thomas Telford (a college with students aged from 11-18) when he arrived. That good relationship continued during the 8 years Grant was working in Telford. The School would hold Harvest and Christmas Services in the church and invite Revd Grant or another minister to speak at their Carols and Lessons Service held in their school. Before he moved to the Netherlands to lead All Saints, the Head of Music, suggested that if the school would do a tour in the Netherlands in the coming few years, maybe they could come to Amersfoort.
And so they are coming this April! They are on a week long tour in the Netherlands and, will play on a Tuesday evening here in Amersfoort.
All Saints is organising this event and has arranged the use of St Ansfridus Church in the south of Amersfoort.
