08.00 Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion. 50 minutes in length.
Book based – no screens. Said service (no music expected). Very short: 3-5 minute message. Communion rail will be installed to allow kneeling for Communion. Book of Common Prayer uses traditional older English.
0930 All Age Holy Communion .
Screen based, music group led, activity pack for our younger kids provided by Sara (please collect when you arrive), children will lead the intercessions. Children of school age, who normally would receive on this Christian festival are welcome to receive, if prepared, as normal, by their parents.
”Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen just as he said. Come see the place where he lay.” (Matthew 28:5-6)
As the Orthodox Church would say this day:
”Khristos voskrese!” Christ is Risen!
” Voistinu voskrese!” The Lord is risen indeed!
We gather in praise and adoration as we celebrate that Jesus was raised from the dead by God!
Two Services. We celebrate that Jesus was raised from the dead by God! We gather as a church family of all sorts and all backgrounds as we worship Our Risen Crucified Lord! We will have a crèche for under 4s.
Both our services are held here at Willem van Mechelenstraat 8, our regular home.
