Chaplaincy Confirmation Service.
The Church of England states: “Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptized and your intention to live a life of committed discipleship. This affirmation is confirmed through prayer and the laying on of hands by the confirming bishop. The Church also asks God to give you power through the Holy Spirit to enable you to live in the way of Jesus.” Taken from the Church of England website.
See the below link for more information.
This very special service, in 2020, will take place on Saturday 30th May, at 2.00pm.
The Confirmation Service is one for the entire chaplaincy – Amersfoort, Zwolle, Groningen, Utrecht. But we do welcome candidates from other Anglican churches, who would like to be confirmed at our service.
The Confirmation will be led by Honorary Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of Europe, Rt Revd Norman Banks . Our service will include Holy Communion.
This year we are confirming candidates from Holy Trinity, All Saints, and other congregations.
The Service will be held here at Holy Trinity Utrecht.
The service goes from 2:00pm to about 4pm and there will be a reception after the service in a hall next to the church and in the area outside between the church and hall.
For more information do please contact us or Holy Trinity Utrecht,
