The events of Holy Week as recorded in the New Testament did not arise out of nowhere or by accident. The Old Testament points forward in many ways to the need for God’s definitive action to deal with the problems a broken relationship with God. In this evening we will explore the ways in which the Old Testament leads us towards the events of Holy Week. Starting with Genesis we trace key developments in God’s plans and mission to redeem and restore relationship with us through Jesus. There will be some Bible teaching and discussion and you will leave with a greater understanding and appreciation for how the Old Testament leads us to the New Testament and Jesus.
