As a church we seek to support the persecuted members of our Christians family.
An organisation who helps us to do this, is Open Doors.
We want to do this through praying regularly for our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters on a Sunday morning within our worship services. We also want to give opportunities for our members to give financially through our charitable giving collections.
Also, each week, in 2018, we want to commit to pray for one of the countries where it is hardest to be a Christian.
Open Doors forms each year, through research, a list of the 50 countries in the world where persecution – whether subtle or violent – is greatest. This is called the World Watch List.
